My name is Ishan, Calisthenics has been my passion. I started just like most people with weight training, but that couldn’t satisfy my hunger for fitness. One casual day I walked into the gym and saw a guy do a 90-degree handstand pushup. I had never seen something like that before. I made it my purpose to learn that skill. That day I just started training calisthenics and never quit. Fast forward two years, I finally achieved just my first 90-degree handstand pushup. Yes, it took me two years. Does it need to take that much time? No, it doesn’t. But I didn’t have anyone who could tell me that my form wasn’t right or what I needed to do to fix my posture. I had to find it all out myself. Being 6,2ft and almost 200 pounds doesn’t make it any easier. But just like I said, I never gave up. If I could to it all over again, I could have done it a lot faster, and with a lot less injuries. But I proved to myself that I never give up.
I help beginners and intermediate athletes build elite levels of strength, control and skill through a structured, personalized approach. As a 6,2ft calisthenics athlete myself, I know what it feels like to struggle, to feel “too tall,” or to feel stuck on the same progression for weeks or even months.
